ABOUT NORTH VFX

North VFX is a small independent post-production company offering VFX supervision and post-production services.

Formed in 2011 by Emmy Award winning VFX supervisor/ Flame artist Angus Wilson, North VFX works with some of the world’s top creative teams and global brands.

We take a holistic approach to each project, constructing a hand-picked team of artists to suit each job, often getting involved from the initial concepts through to deliverables, providing continuity and stability for clients.

Over the years we have built up an extensive network of established professionals who we call upon when needed. That said, we are also mindful to promote new talent and emerging artists.

Members of our team are readily available to travel world-wide for location shoots. In addition, we can offer fully equipped in-house Flame sessions, allowing clients face-to-face contact within their own agencies and production offices.

Angus is an industry veteran with a deep understanding of the VFX post production processes. Well loved and respected not only for his in-depth technical knowledge of all things VFX, but for his calm, level-headed and focussed approach to each project. Whether on set or in the Flame studio, Angus is a good person to have on board; a safe pair of hands who can always be called upon to provide workable solutions to all manner of technical and creative issues.

Executive Producer Sawsan has been working across the industry for the last 20 years. This includes stints as a Senior/Executive Producer at Big Buoy Films, Saatchi and Saatchi Advertising and Hogarth where, in her role as Head of Post Production, she built and managed a team of over 40 personnel, overseeing all creative output and delivering many top-tier global campaigns. Her skill set is endless, as is her warmth, talent and passion for the craft.

Judy began her career as a digital artist in Soho in the mid 90’s, working for post-production giants Smoke and Mirrors, Framestore and The Mill. Hailing from an artistic background, she brings creative flair and design mastery to every project. Judy has worked on countless advertising campaigns, films and music videos with some of the industry’s most cutting-edge creative teams. Hugely gifted, Judy’s aesthetic talents go hand in hand with her diligence and keen eye for detail.
